I'll take this opportunity to describe the relationship I have with my craft. You are welcome to engage with the technical side of my work via links to my IMDB, portfolio, and resume. My attention is drawn to filmmaking because it represents the peak ambition of visual culture. Similar to an orchestra, the volume of collaboration involved with filmmaking creates an artwork which (hopefully) exceeds the imagination of the viewing public.On-set, I'm keenly tuned to the nuances of performance. The role of set stills is often described as an interloper; a description I work tenaciously to disprove. I see myself in constant non-verbal collaboration with talent, and an ad-hoc dance performance with other crew. I make it my goal to prioritize others before locating myself. Whatever potential is lost by this "sacrifice" is returned by the cast and crew with grace. I believe this strategy is why I've experienced moderate success; I love this work and the people involved with it; I'm always looking for more opportunities to create within this environment.
