I am an experienced motion picture studio mechanic (Grip); having worked with NY Local 52 IATSE Union Hall for over 8 years. My experience includes 3 categories: construction, rigging, and shooting. While working in construction, I executed: installations or erections of any sets or set pieces in a studio or on set locations. My rigging experience includes: setting, hanging, and focusing lighting instruments; constructed scaffolding used in making film sets; made black outs; rigged cameras to cars, ladders,etc. While shooting: set up c-stands, mini mombos, mombo combos, rolling stands with flags (such as floppys, CTO, opals, unbleach and bleach muslins, silks and ultrabounce, as required for the scene); maintained and cleaned grip gear and dolly accessories. I am a certified operator for: boom lift, fork lift and scissor lift. Completed my 10-hour OSHA construction industry and the 10-hour general industry certifications.
