Description

An independent film writer, producer, editor and director who has crafted short films, music videos and two low budget features through his production company, Next Floor Entertainment. Justin graduated from Shoreline Community College with a certificate in Directing and Producing in 2014.
He has won various awards for his latest horror short film "A Purple Vision" and "EMIKO" and has went on to receive recognition and praise for his work, “This Pretty Face” and “A Deal for Red Eyes”.
Justin is also very much involved in the greater Seattle film scene working as a Producer for various short form projects and an Assistant Director for Low Budget Features and Broadcasted TV. From time to time, he'll sharpen his pencil and skills as a Script Supervisor for which he has done for since 2016 on various feature films.


Special Skills & Experience

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
• Executing daily production tasks with quick efficiency and distinct communication between departments and Producers.
• Experience with creating Call Sheets and Production Reports through both Microsoft Excel and Movie Magic Programs.
• Knowledge of SAG-AFTRA paperwork including Exhibit G’s and Actor Agreement Contracts.
• Provides a friendly, detailed oriented and comfortable experience for Talent when navigating through the daily schedule.
• Delegates duties to production assistants throughout each shift and manages consistent communication on active tasks for the day.

SCRIPT SUPERVISOR
• Efficiently logging notes onto the production shooting script for a recorded history of what was shot, changed, added and or deleted from the scheduled shoot of that day.
• Creates an organized binder with in-depth notes for Post-Production, the Production Office and Studio that is submitted at the end of each work day.
• Proficient in creating a dynamic system for Editor Logs, Daily Production Reports and Facing Pages.
• Collects a plethora of continuity photos for each take and set-up of the production’s filming which includes actor movement, prop placement and connection between each scene.
• Communicates with the Editor on a daily basis on organization of footage, sound and additional notes.
