Hello I'm Aly, a young, highly motivated filmworker currently based in Seattle. On set I am driven and hard working team player who is ready to play a supporting role in any department on your next production. I take direction well and don't need to be asked twice to complete a task. I value clear and direct communication with my peers and higher ups. I am incredibly enthusiastic and eager to develop a professional career in film and television production. Specifically I'm interested in a role as an AD, PA or script supervisor. At my core I believe in the power of kindness and the idea that if you work hard, with the right attitude, your opportunities will be endless. While at Seattle University I've taken a number of film studies classes such as film analysis, history of film and a variety of genre studies. Naturally i'm very organized in my thinking and on paper. Working in groups I help prioritize and sequence events. I am a clear and consistent communicator and effective in meeting deadlines . Although I have limited production experience I'm a quick learner and confident. I'm part of our filmmakers club at SU. Through them I was able to work as a producer on a short film in the beginning of 2022. My responsibilities during pre-production were to coordinate/communicate with department leads, run auditions, scout locations, and set up our filming schedule. On set I was a utility player, there to pick up slack where ever needed. I helped block out scenes, talk through problems with the director and ran lines with actors. My experience with student productions has reinforced my decision to pursue a professional career as a filmworker. I will be an asset in any department and appreciate the opportunity to bring vision of your next production to the screen.
