L (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker who has worked with Seattle establishments like Seattle Art Museum, Northwest Film Forum, CUT and The Stranger. Most frequently L works in the non-fiction realm of documenting living artists and curators who's work is on view at the Seattle Art Museum, but in their free time L loves projects that range from narrative to music video. Having received a BFA in Graphic Design, L pivoted to the moving image in 2018. Initially, she was drawn to cinematography and shaping of light in Grip & Electric, but she naturally found comfort behind the editing suite as well as in pre-production design.
