Paul Boyer is a freelance writer-director and camera op focusing on commercials and narrative filmmaking. He has a passion and track record for directing comedy. Paul got his start as a UCLA-trained screenwriter. He parlayed his 2012 Industry Insider Screenwriting Contest win for his feature script, Triangled, into a lengthy stint as an agency creative. Working his way up from junior copywriter to director of communications at Hemisphere Design & Marketing, Paul gradually found his way behind the camera. He discovered a passion for shepherding the overall vision of a film, collaborating with actors, and creating striking visuals. Paul also runs a boutique but full-service production company, Boyer Media Group. Serving primarily Washington-based businesses, organizations, and governmental agencies with commercials, branded content, and campaign creation.
