I have a diverse experience as camera operator, with professional on-set experience operating handheld, and heavily supported studio rigs, as well as operating advanced mobile rigs in remote locations. I strive to be adaptable, applying my diverse skill set where it’s most effective. I know the importance of bringing positivity to every crew I work with, and the importance of learning from them.Perhaps more important than the above sales pitch, I’m a filmmaker who cares about the projects I’m involved in, and the people I work with. I believe these two things are crucial in creating an environment for exceptional filmmaking. The more experience I gain, the more I realize I will always be a student of filmmaking, regardless of the scale or scope of the production. I’m very fortunate to have worked with some amazingly talented directors and cinematographers in the past, and am often humbled by the perseverance I’ve seen pay off in the face of adversity.
I specialize in remote location doc and commercial work using several leading digital cinema formats including Arri Alexa, Sony CineAlt. and primarily RED Digital Cinema. I'm also comfortable on large multi camera camera TV productions where planning and coordination are imperative. Now in a post COVID world, live streaming interviews and corporate productions are workflows I now use. With more than 20 years exploring the mountains, deserts, and oceans in over 20 countries, Anjin has developed an interesting quiver of skills to get him there. As an avid skier, mountain biker, white water kayaker, climber, paraglider pilot, sailboat skipper, and whitewater rafter these skills often come in handy during production.
