My name is Nil Unerdem and I'm an emerging writer/director. My screenplays include Human Stalk, a horror comedy feature (Finalist for Stowe Story Labs, Cinestory Feature Retreat, Blacklist Real-time Top List 2023), Song of Selale, a rom com, and Lydia's Electronics, indie comedy. I also wrote and directed my own short film Pearl in the Window in 2022 (SF Short Film Festival, Cascadia Women's International Film Festival).I've worked on multiple independent film sets on a feature and several shorts as assistant director, script supervisor, and production assistant. I believe my background as a product manager (worked for 16 years at Dolby Labs as an engineer and product manager) is especially a good fit for the assistant director position.I'm also Secretary and Board Member of the Women in Film SF Bay Area non-profit organization. I am located in Bellingham, WA.
